Riverside residents departed from a Democratic Watch Party in Riverside on Nov. 8 as President Elect Donald Trump led in the race for President of the United States.
“We have underestimated the support he has throughout the country,”Mark Takano, who was re-elected to the 41st District of the U.S. Congress, said of Trump’s surprising lead.
Trump obtained 279 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton’s 218 as of Nov. 9 at 3:57 a.m. PST, according to The New York Times.
