There were no reportable offenses from Dec. 17 to Jan 2. according to Riverside Community College District Police records clerk Valeree Metroka.
Jan. 4
Indecent exposure
A report was made at 3:17 p.m. of an adult male (non student) exposing his genitals to female students. The incident happened near the women’s restroom on the west end of the Math and Science Building. No arrest was made that day.
Jan. 5
Indecent exposure
At approximately 3:50 p.m. an adult male was seated on the bench near the water fountain located in front of the Nursing Building and adjacent to the Digital Library. The man grabbed a female student’s foot that was sitting nearby and she yelled for him to stop. When she did so, the suspect ran away. The description of the suspect was similar to that of the suspect reported to be exposing himself to female students near the Math and Science Building. However there was not enough information in the report to confirm this.
Jan. 5
Indecent exposure, parole violation, outstanding warrant
The same adult male (non student) that was reported to have been exposing himself to female students on Jan. 4, returned to the Math and Science building location at 11:40 a.m. and repeated the offense. The suspect was arrested for indecent exposure, parole violation and an outstanding warrant.
Jan. 15
Vandalism
It was reported at 3 p.m. that the latch of a storage shed near Landis Auditorium was damaged. No items were stolen and there was no suspect information.
Jan. 19
Tampering with vehicle
A adult male (non student) was reported to have been seen siphoning gas from a Riverside City College employee’s car near the Technology A Building at approximately 3:22 p.m. Riverside Community College District officers found the suspect in the area and arrested him for tampering with the vehicle.
Jan. 22
Registration tags stolen
At approximately 8 a.m. a report was made that the registration tag was stolen from an RCC staff member’s vehicle. There was no suspect information.
Jan. 22
Vehicle stolen
A golf cart was stolen near the Health Services office located in the Bradshaw Building. There was no suspect information and the vehicle has not been recovered.
Jan. 25
Disorderly conduct
At approximately 12:15 p.m. a male non student entered a women’s restroom in the Music Building. A female student told him to leave and the suspect left. It is not certain what the suspect’s intentions were. There have been no developments in the case.
Jan. 27
Student’s wallet stolen
At 8 a.m. a wallet belonging to an RCC student had been stolen from the student’s backpack near the track at Wheelock Field. There was no suspect information and the wallet has not been recovered.
Feb. 4
Student’s bicycle stolen on campus
At approximately 10:25 a.m. an RCC student’s bicycle was stolen near the Student Financial Services office. There was no suspect information.
