Riverside walk for wishes

Make a Wish foundation will be at Fairmount Park April 9 at 7:30 a.m. for its annual Riverside Walk for Wishes event. There will be a spirit walk in the morning followed by vendors, games, prizes and live entertainment. For more information about the event contact Sarah Pizzaruso event coordinator at 714-573-9474.

1st annual Victoria avenue day

The first ever Victoria Avenue Day, hosted by the Victoria Avenue Forever organization, will feature a three mile guided tour of Victoria Avenue from Central Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard  8 a.m. to 12 p.m. April 9. Riverside Mayor Rusty Bailey, will be present at the event. There will also be a car show, educational activities and opportunity drawings. 2016 Hero walk for autism

Riverside City College will be hosting the Hero Walk For Autism on  April 17 from 12-4 p.m. Registration for the event is $15 for adults and for anyone under 17 or has been diagnosed with autism is free of charge. Parking is free for the event and all proceeds will benefit the local autism community in the Inland Empire.

Chalk Walk covers RCC

There will be a Chalk Walk competition from April 19 to April 21in honor of earth week. Anyone can enter the competition and there will be games and cash prizes. For more information contact Will Kim event coordinator will.kim@rcc.edu.
