After winning the conference bowl, the Riverside City College football team received all-around honors from the coaches of the Central Conference.
According to the RCC Athletic website, Dalton Livingston was selected as the offense player of the year for the conference and Ryan Hofmeister was selected as the defense player of the year for the conference.
Livingston finished the season with 2,746 passing yards and 23 touchdowns, which were both school records.
Hofmeister finished his season with 137 tackles, 44 whom he did solo.
Coach Tom Craft and his staff were selected as coach and staff of the year for the conference.
This year’s football team is just the third team in the school’s 89 year history to win 10 games or more.
The previous two teams to win 10 or more games were the ’86 team who went on to win the PONY Bowl and the ’89 National Championship team, whom both were coached by athletic director, Barry Meier.
Five RCC players were named to the first conference team, Andre Hunt, Ryan Tuner, Lester White, Marquis Cox and Sadale Foster.
Eleven RCC players were named to the second conference team, Stevie Will, Jon Greenwall, Eric Alt, Mustafa Johnson, Marco Barrera, Bruce Jones, Mickey Payne, Albert Rodirguez, Maurice Cox, Zaire Anderson and Alex Alvarez.
