Riverside City College football fans will be able to hear home games broadcasted through the radio.
Fox Sports 1350 AM has become the official flagship radio station for the RCC Tigers 2016 regular season and playoff season home games.
In a press release by Fox Sports 1350, “FOX Sports 1350 is the premiere destination for sports in the Inland Empire,” RCC Athletic Director Jim Wooldridge said. “We (Riverside City College) are excited about this partnership and know it will have a huge impact for connecting RCC Athletics to the Riverside community at large.”
The games will be hosted by Brian “Coach B” Arrington and Eddie “Eternal” Talbert Jr., of the morning sports talk show IE Sports Net. Both Arrington and Talbert will provide a play by play of the games and will also be hosting, pre-game,halftime and post-games shows.
“Fox Sports 1350 and the RCC Tiger’s just reinforced the fact that we (Fox Sports 1350) are the No. 1 destination for sport in the Inland Empire,” Brian “Coach B” Arrington said. “Welcome to your new home, RCC Tigers!”
RCC games can also be heard on News Talk 1440 AM when scheduled games conflict with Los Angeles Dodger, Rancho Cucamonga Quakesbaseball broadcasts or NFL or NCAA football broadcasts.
The RCC games will be broadcasted on the iHeartMedia app using 1350AM.
The first game that will be broadcasted will be Sept. 17 when the Tigers face off against Bakersfield College at 6pm.
Update Sept.17 1:16pm: Broadcasts can be heard on 1440 AM when schedules are conflicted with other sporting events. Games can be heard on the iHeartMedia app.
