RCC police search for man after attack on officer

Riverside City College police on March 24 alerted the campus about a man sought in the attack of an RCC officer assaulted on campus.

RCC police chief Jim Miyashiro said, in an e-mail forwarded to RCC staff and faculty, Mark Stephen Fisher had committed assault and battery on a RCC police officer including other charges. 

Mayashiro said Fisher was seen driving a white 2005 Dodge van with California license plate 5LVE196.

Mayashiro said Fisher is 5′ 8″ and 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. RCC police said Fisher’s birthday is June 17, 1957.

Police chief Miyashiro said to report Fisher if he is seen on or around any of the RCC campuses to RCC police at 951-222-8171.

At 2 p.m. on March 25 Riverside City College police chief Jim Miyashiro said in a e-mail that Mark Stephen Fisher was in custody.
