The Anaheim Convention Center hosted WonderCon in Anaheim for the second year in a row and took place over the Easter weekend of March 29-31, 2013.

In 2012, the previous year the convention brought over 40,000 attendees to the Orange County area. The convention itself is produced and operated by the same people that (put together?), Comic-Con, the biggest comics and popular arts convention in the world according to the Guinness World Records.

WonderCon Anaheim is part of the Comic-Con international family of conventions.

WonderCon is one of the largest comic conventions on the West coast. The guests that attended WonderCon Anaheim were award-winning writers and artists from the world of comics. The special guests included John Layman (writer, Chew, Detective Comics), DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee (artist of the Justice League), Dan Slott (writer of Amazing Spider-Man and Superior Spider-Man), Joss Whedon (director of The Avengers movie), and of course we cannot forget about the man himself, Stan Lee.

WonderCon Anaheim 2013 had a spacious exhibit hall with over 700 exhibitors, 240 hours of programming featuring comics, movies, television shows, and on-stage costume competition better known as a Masquerade.
