The consequences of ‘Cuttin Corners’
Join the Puente Club for an evening of singing, dancing, sadness and humor when they present “Cuttin Corners.” This musical dramatizes the relationship between two brothers and how they deal with the consequences of their decisions.The show will be in the Landis Performing Arts Center on Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students, staff, faculty, senior citizens and children, and $17 for everyone else.
A name change for the Digital Library
On Feb. 26 at 12:50-1:50 p.m. the Digital Library and Learning Resource Center will be renamed in honor of former Riverside City College Chancellor Salvatore Rotella.
History comes alive on stage
“Most Valuable Player: The story of Jackie Robinson” follows Robinson as he triumphs over prejudice and becomes the first African-American player in major league baseball.The play will be in the Landis Performing Arts Center on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. Reserved seating is $18 and general admission is $10.
Jump, Jive and Boogie
Richard Stover and his Big Band All-Stars salute the best of Big Band at the Tribute to the Big Bands. They will be joined by singers Cassie Miller and Vic Leon on March 1 at 2 p.m. in the Landis Performing Arts Center. Tickets prices range from $19 to $28.
