Daryl Terrell pled guilty to charges of embezzling funds, according to an article in Black Voice News.

Terrell is currently running for election to a seat on the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees.

According to the 2004 article, the charges first surfaced when Terrell ran for a seat on the Moreno Valley City Council, leading him to drop out of the race.

Terrell later reentered the race, and went on to secure 17.59 percent of the votes.

Terrell received an Associates degree from RCCD and a Bachelor’s degree from UC Riverside, according to the article.

Attempts to contact Terrell were unreturned.
