Last year RCC’s men’s cross country came in third and is eager to do better this year. Coach Scott Parks said, “Orange Coast is defending state champ, and the team that everyone is looking to beat.” Parks is looking forward to this season. “We have a lot of good freshman this year,” Parks said.

“We have a lot of good freshman this year,” Parks said. On the woman’s team, coach Mike Barbee said this is the most talented group he has worked with. “We took second in conference finals and state, and won the Mount SAC invite last year,” Barbee said. “After summer training we have six girls faster than our fastest girl last year. So this year we want to win.” With three returning sophomores and seven new freshmen, the team is looking forward to this season.
