For those who ride the bus around Riverside County, may find themselves stuck in traffic or have a long way to travel to get to their destination, the latest addition by the Riverside Transit Agency will be a benefit to its riders.

RTA has announced that it will offer free Wi-Fi for during a rider’s commute as part of its Intelligent Transportation System project.
According to a RTA release, the free internet connection is part of the project that will feature other technological advances such as “a text-alert system to get up-to-the-minute arrival times and a new mobile app that allows customers to monitor real-time bus locations.”
The Wi-Fi service, which was only available on CommuterLink Express buses, will be added to more than 200 buses by Fall.
