The Tigers are on an average run with a record of 6-4. The team only has three returning players and the rest consist of freshmen. In addition the Tigers have terrific talent and they work great as a unit. With leading player Erin Araujo, and Kristina Obermeyer, who combined for 28 kills and 34 digs. The Tigers were able to take the win over Mt. San Antonio with a four set victory to open up their 2005 season on Sept. 9.
On Sept. 14 the Tigers defeated Citrus with a 3-1 victory with the scores of 30-27, 30-25, 25-30, 30-23. Led by Suzie Witmer, the team started the game with plenty of energy. The Tigers wasted no time scoring against Citrus. In the last game, Citrus struggled to keep up with the Tigers, with Skye Williams, who had 17 kills and freshmen Sara Baker, had 44 setting assist as Riverside killed Citrus in a non- conference in Riverside. In the following game the Tigers were defeated by Glendale, AZ 0-2 and by Chandler- Gilbert 0-2.
