Spring 2009 enrollment peaks

Has enrollment for fall semester at Riverside City College taken a plummet with the economy? Despite disappointing economic trends, registration for spring of 2009 has peaked at 37,045 students, amounting to about 21 percent over the previous spring and fall semesters of 2008.

The RCC men’s baseball team forestalls from losing four straight games last Saturday at the Evans Sports Complex in Riverside. The RCC Tigers faced Fullerton in a critical division match up from the Orange Empire Conference as both teams were struggling for wins in conference meets.

Golf team having a rough year

It’s a new year for the Riverside City College golf team and they are not having a good one thus far. The Tigers have had some growing pains so far this season. After finishing in the middle of the pack of the season’s opening tournament, they have yet to win a conference match in six tries.
