An active shooter seminar is scheduled to be held on Feb. 18 at 12:50 p.m. in the Digital Library Auditorium. It is open to students, faculty, staff, members of the community, as well as staff members from other educational institutions.
The seminar will feature strategies for deterring, detecting, delaying and possibly defeating an active shooter. Lessons learned from past terrorist attacks and active shooter incidents that occurred across the US will also be discussed. Those interested can register at http://svy.mk/1KaU3L3
