Patricia Lock Dawson, a Riverside Unified School District board member since 2011, announced Sept. 4, that she’s running for mayor.
The young candidate hopes his previous accomplishments and knowledge will gain him the ability to seek change and create a better future for the cities development of affordable housing, the resolvement of the cities infrastructure and maintaining the focus on historic preservation.
“Riverside residents beamed with pride as city leaders discussed past challenges and the recent economic and cultural growth of the city at the 39th State of the City address, delivered by Mayor William “Rusty” Bailey.”
One of the oldest traditions in academia, the Investiture Ceremony honoring the inauguration of Riverside City College President Wolde-Ab Isaac, took place Oct. 12, from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Landis Auditorium.
