Riverside City College will hold the “Route to RCC,” an inaugural event on April 23 scheduled to help students learn more about college programs, scholarship opportunities, financial aid and other additional information.
The event will also be used to preview the new Dr. Charles A. Kane Student Services and Administration Building, a structure created with the expectation of making the admissions and registration process easier for students.
“Honestly, we couldn’t think of a better time to preview the new student services building then at this community event,” said Cecilia Alvarado, interim vice president of Student Services in a press release. “The students attending Route to RCC will be the first to preview the new building and all it has to offer in order to assist them in reaching their educational goals at RCC.
The building, named after the college’s sixth president, was funded by Measure C; a bond passed in 2004 by voters.
