The Riverside Fire Department and ABC7 are teaming up for a toy drive running through Dec. 24. To make Christmas special for a child or teenager in Riverside, donate at the Cesar Chavez Community Center at 2060 University Ave., the Stratton Community Center at 2008 Martin Luther King Blvd., or at any other one of the 14 fire stations available for drop-offs in the city. You will have to call your local center to register to receive donations.
Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Thursdays, 4-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 1-4 p.m. on Fridays. For more information, contact Jennifer McDowell at 951-602-0812 or [email protected] or Barbara Hunter at 951-826-5737.
The Associated Students of Riverside City College are helping provide toys to children who are registered with the Salvation Army. To donate to a child, fill out this spreadsheet as a secret Santa. Once you have the gift you’ll fill out and print the ornament label and attach it to the outside of the gift and drop it off at 3695 1st St. in Riverside.

The Way World Outreach Christmas Giveaway
The Way World Outreach is hosting its annual Christmas giveaway Dec. 20 at noon at 4680 Hallmark Parkway in San Bernardino. The giveaway consists of spreading love and giving children toys for the Christmas season.
You can either donate toys at the Hallmark Campus or you can volunteer to help giveaway toys to children on the The Way World Outreach app. Use the app to register your children to receive gifts.

The annual Hemet Toy Drive will be held Dec. 19. It is a great way to connect with the community and put a smile on the face of a child who otherwise would probably no be receiving anything from Santa this year.

Jurupa Valley’s Adopt A Family will run through Dec. 20 to help those in need during the holiday season. Donations can be made by check or online at jvadoptafamily.org.

San Manuel Casino’s Annual Toy Drive
If you are looking to donate to a child in need and receive some free play at the casino this year, bring a new, unwrapped toy to the casino by Dec. 13. You will receive $10 in free play for donating one toy. For two toys donated, you will receive $10 in free play and a $10 voucher for breakfast or lunch at any San Manuel food outlet.
The toy must be worth at least $10 and your receipt must be provided. San Manuel Casino will provide the donations to local nonprofits. For more information, contact the casino’s Guest Services.
