RCC hosted an open house for the Centennial Celebration this morning from 10 a.m., until 12 p.m., where various clubs appeared on campus to celebrate the history of RCC and recruit students for current programs.
Among the programs and clubs from RCC were the Astronomy program, Student Athletic Advising Council, Foster Kinship and Care, School of Nursing, Math tutoring services, LA CASA, Supplemental Instruction, the Math Learning Center, Financial aid, RCC’s Culinary Academy and others.
Mayor Rusty Bailey, college alumni and the Riverside City Fire Department also attended the celebration. The Fire Department stood with their fire trucks near the Digital Library Auditorium, handing out fliers and sharing with members of the community about the Community Emergency Response Team.
More to come.
