Riverside City College will be holding its annual homecoming festivities on Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be a parade at 8 a.m. from the Riverside Courthouse to RCC, led by the Marching Tigers and local high school bands followed later on by an open house of the campus. A viewing of the RCC centennial film will be in the Digital library and Learning Resource Center at 10 a.m. and music performances outside of the Quadrangle and Bookstore.
On the street connecting Terracina Drive and Fairfax Avenue, between the Quadrangle, Digital Library and Learning Resource Center, there will be a car show held at 10:30 a.m. Food trucks will be present all day long including Baconmania, Quesa Divas, Tropical Vibes Cuisine and a Mexican Food Truck are going to be located in the upper campus along Terracina Drive.
At 3 p.m., there will be an air show over Wheelock Stadium along with live entertainment and carnival games. Later that evening, the Homecoming game against Chaffey College will close the day’s events along with a halftime show featuring fireworks and a Centennial Performance. RCC’s 100 year anniversary is coming up in spring 2016 and Homecoming will mark the kickoff for this celebration.
