Riverside City College Welcome Day is Aug 29 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food trucks and club rush so that students can enjoys snacks and get a head start on planning for their fall semester.
News students are encouraged to attend and receive guided tours of the campus to assist them in finding their classes before the first day of the semester. Swag bags will be provided to students who are enrolled.
Check-in for this event will begin at 7:30 a.m. sharp at the Landis Performing Arts Center.
A Resource Fair will be held at 10 a.m. for students to inquire about resources and programs offered by RCC.
Tours will begin at 10:30 a.m. A sign-up booth will be set up in the Quadrangle. Class schedule may be printed out by accessing WebAdvisor online and clicking on the “My Class Schedule” tab.
Student college ID will be available from 11:45 a.m to 2 p.m. for students who have already registered and attend at least one 30 minute workshop offered at Welcome Day. Valid California ID, high school ID, or passport must be presented to receive an ID.
There will also be a workshop and lounge just for parents.
The bookstore will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is located in Bradshaw Building.

10:30 a.m. Workshops (Various classrooms in the Quadrangle)
10:30 a.m. 30 minute tours begin
12:30 p.m. to 2 pm. Open house – Financial Aid Office, Student Government, Welcome/ Outreach Center and Student Health and Psychological Services
