Viewpoints is a publication of the students of Riverside City College in Riverside, CA. We have been serving the students of RCC since 1922. Viewpoints is published every other week, excluding holidays, during the academic year. Viewpoints has a print circulation of 2,500 and reaches 9,000 readers in print and online.

Viewpoints students have won the following awards:
– Associated Collegiate Press national Best of Show Newspaper in 2011 and 2004
– ACP national Multimedia Story of the Year in 2009
– ACP national Pacemaker awards in 2005 and 2004
– ACP national Opinions Story of the Year in 2003
– ACP national Sports Story of the Year in 2000
– Five ACP annual All-American awards
– Twenty-seven Journalism Association of Community Colleges General Excellence awards from 1996-2011
– More than 300 JACC individual awards from 1996-2011
– JACC state Pacesetter Award
– JACC Best newspaper in Southern California
-Twenty-eight Society of Professional Journalists awards
-Three Los Angeles Times College Newspaper Overall Excellence awards.
-Two national CPOY College Photographer of the Year awards
