Upcoming progress to the 91 High Occupancy Vehicle project is expected to affect Riverside City College in August, according to a Riverside Community College District release made of information provided by CalTrans.

The status on the 14 Street overpass bridge has been delayed for three weeks and commuters can expect the bridge to be reduced from six lanes to two lanes by the end of August.

The Cridge Street overpass bridge, which is across from RCC’s cosmetology building, is expected to remain closed as CalTrans continues to work on the other overpass bridges on 14 Street and Ivy Street.

Riverside has issued an advisory that Riverside Avenue is scheduled to be closed from Central Avenue to Jurupa Avenue for 14 months, which is expected to start somewhere between now and the end of the year, said the release.
