Who needs to spend $80 to buy “Resident Evil 5,” when you can play these games…for free.
With most people’s financial situation these days, it’s become increasingly hard to afford those ridiculously over priced games. Instead, switch to the internet and look to free online gaming.
Gaming Web sites like http://www.addictinggames.com and http://www.newgrounds.com have been around for quite sometime, but not many of us take the time to play them, mostly because we are prejudice against games that are low budget and free for us to play.
For those of you who are prejudice let me tell you, saving money has never been so fun.
Some flash games are seen as simple and easy to make, but it’s those features that make flash games that much better, especially for that aspiring game designer who thinks that he’s got a great idea for a game, but doesn’t have the budget to make it.
That is unless you’re Capcom then you can go ahead and drop around $5 million on “Resident Evil.”
Games like “World of Warcraft” make the player not only have to pay to buy the game, but keep paying to play the game as well. God forbid if one those players ever had to stop playing because the fifteen dollars a month just began to hit their wallet.
What I offer is a non-costly alternative, “Rohan: Blood Feud,” a Massively Multiplayer Online game like “World of Warcraft,” that won’t cost you a dime to play the game monthly.
It contains different races and customizable armor similar to that of “World of Warcraft,” but the only down side is that you have to download the installation program for and the price of zero dollars and zero cents.
“Rohan: Blood Feud” has a much more mature look to it compared to the look of “World of Warcraft” since the characters, enemies and background all don’t look like they come out of a cartoon.
Game play feels very similar to “World of Warcraft” so if you’ve spent hours upon hours mastering “World of Warcraft” you will be able to pick this game up and play with little to learn.
If you don’t have the money to play “Resident Evil 5” and just want to take a bunch of zombies out, boy does addictinggames.com have the games for you.
Given that these games aren’t even on a budget compared to “Resident Evil 5,” try to keep an open mind with games like “Zombie Shootout.”
A zombie shoot’em up type game where you’re a lone survivor placed in a barricaded house and you need to survive wave after wave of zombies.
With no real objective or story being the only draw back, playing “Zombie Shootout” will get you hooked with this wanton feeling of just wanting to watch more undead die again.
If you play “Zombie Shootout” and don’t like it, just remember, you didn’t spend any money to play the game.
For you Real Time Strategy fans out there who have put time and money into your computer to get your favorite games to run right, and having to spend the time to learn the multitude of maps, addictinggames has a wide array of games that you can play as a substitute.
Among those games is “Battle Gear,” a Real Time Strategy type game that has no end.
You send troops, tanks and planes to take out your enemy’s main base.
Still not satisfied, want more?
Addictinggames and Newgrounds definitely has your cup of tea. It won’t do you justice to limit yourself to just those Web sites.
If you want the full potential of free online gaming you might have to do your own research among the indefinite ways to save money on games that the internet has to offer.
