Memorial to be held for Al Parker

Former Riverside City College professor Al Parker died June 8.

A memorial service will be held for him in the Digital Library where he worked for 45 years. He is survived by his wife Kim Metcalfe and two daughters Chrystine and Abigail.

Parker’s wife asked to please consider donating to the Alfred Parker History Scholarship fund.

Dina Anderson, from the RCCD Foundation, will have a table set up for those who would like to sign up for a monthly or one time donation.

Refreshments will be served on Sept. 9 from 5:30 -7:00 p.m. in the Quadrangle. The service will then begin at 7:15 p.m. in the Digital Library.
