Retired Riverside City College faculty member Jan Schall died July 2, according to the Facebook page of Riverside Community College District’s Board of Trustees President Virginia Blumenthal.
Schall also served as the director of RCC’s Study Abroad Program.
She was a “dear friend to myself and so many others,” Blumenthal stated in her Facebook post. “We will truly miss her. She was one of the ‘good people’ with a heart as big as the world.”
CAPA International Education, a global leader in academic learning abroad, announced the establishment of the Jan Schall Legacy Scholarship for Study Abroad on May 22, 2012.
The scholarship that recognizes the passion that Schall consistently demonstrated for study abroad programs for over 20 years.
