The Riverside City College Tigers put an end to their three-game losing stink when they beat Santiago Canyon, 12-11, on March 2.

In what was more like a slug fest each team contributed 23 runs and 30 hits.

The star of the night was no other than Tigers’ shortstop Danielle Lopez who hit a cycle.

“I think that’s the first cycle ever in our softball program here at RCC,” said head coach Michelle Daddonna.

The Tigers’ next stop is March 9, where they are scheduled to face Fullerton College on the road.
