With the departure of Derrick Johnson, Riverside City College will begin the nation wide process for a new athletic director.
In the meantime, Assistant Athletic Director and men’s tennis coach Jim Elton will take over the duties as acting athletic director, according to RCC President Wolde-Ab Isaac and Vice President of Student Services Edward Bush.
Isaac stated that the interim process is in the final stages and awaiting background checks before a decision is made.
