Robert James led the Riverside City College men’s basketball team in scoring for the second straight game after a win over the San Diego Miramar Jets, 82-69.
James produced 19 points in the Tigers home opener, while going 5-for-7 from the three point line.
Taj Adams and DJ Muepo contributed to the Tigers scoring attack with 17 points a piece.
Muepo also had four rebounds and three blocked shots.
The Jets were led in scoring by Jeremiah Townes, who finished with 32 points.
Cole Brewer played 12 minutes for the Jets before dislocating his shoulder in the first half.
Brewer did not return to the game.
The Tigers did not have any major injuries during the game, but were without sophomore Anthony Rounds for the second straight game.
Rounds is recovering from a high ankle sprain and hopes to return for the Tigers’ next game against College of Southern Idaho on Dec. 7.
