The Riverside City College football team defeated Ventura College, 59-41, after a rally in the second half of its season opener.
The RCC Tigers are now 1-0 and will play at Palomar College on Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.
UPDATE: With the Riverside City College football team’s win over Ventura College on Saturday, the Tigers find themselves ranked No. 3 in the state by the California Community College Football Coaches Association.
The CCCFCA has RCC ranked No. 1 in Southern California.
