Thomas M. Fallo
Thomas Fallo has been president of El Camino College in Torrance since 1995.
Fallo has achieved a doctorate in Institutional Management from Pepperdine University, a master’s of business administration in Business Management and a bachelor’s of Economics from UCLA.
Before joining El Camino College he was the chancellor of business services for the Los Angeles Community College District.
He is also the president of California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, and Statewide Association of Community Colleges Joint Powers Agreement and is past president of the California Community College Administrators.
Fallo also serves as a member of the Commission on Athletics.
Gregory W. Gray
Gregory W. Gray is the president of the Kendall campus at Miami-Dade College. He holds a doctorate in Education from Penn State University, a master’s in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s in science from Indiana University.
Prior to joining Miami-Dade College, Gray spent eight years as the chancellor of the Fayette campus of Penn State University.
He has also held administrative positions at State University of New York and City Colleges of Chicago.
Gray is a national speaker on topics including student success and faculty compensation and initiated the visiting professor and Artist-in-Residence programs at Miami-Dade.
Charles A. Taylor
The former president of Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton Virginia, Charles A. Taylor, holds a doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision from Loyola University and a master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
Before his time at Thomas Nelson, Taylor was the chief operating officer at Peralta Community College District in Oakland and chief executive officer for the Community Colleges of Spokane, Washington.
He has also taught at Loyola University of Chicago and was an assistant professor at Chicago State University.
Since leaving Thomas Nelson, Taylor has served on various boards including the American Association of Community Colleges.
Wayne D. Watson
Wayne D. Watson has been chancellor of City Colleges of Chicago since 1998. He holds a doctorate, master’s and bachelor’s from Northwestern.
As chancellor, Watson has presided over the opening of Kennedy-King College, introduced the “Get On the Bus” college tour and was profiled in the Chronicle of Higher Education.
Working with the mayor’s office, Chicago State University and the Global Alliance of Africa, Watson helped establish nursing scholarships for Liberian students.
He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Northwestern University and the Fantus Health Center Board.
Watson also served as a consultant to Alex Haley as he was doing research to write the international best seller “Roots.”
