Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams are fighting hard to be the best this year. At the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Oct. 14, the women’s team came in second and with its best finish this season, the men’s team came in third. The women’s team won the Bakersfield meet on Sept.

Before the rebuilding of the Riverside Plaza, it seemed like the good old Galleria at Tyler was the only option for clothing. It appears that cheap chain stores keep popping up in order to disgrace the mall. Compare the Galleria to the Brea Mall or the Mission Viejo Mall where there are “high-end” shops, and I even shed a tear every time I have to fathom the thought of our mall here in Riverside.

Women of all ages and some men came out to the “Love Your Body” Womyn’s Conference held at Riverside Community College Oct. 15. The conference was put on by RCC’s Feminists Unite. “We wanted to bring awareness to women and enhance their self esteem,” said “F U” adviser Jami Brown.
