Burton’s ‘Beetle Juice’ still dead, loving it

On March 30, 1988 Tim Burton came out with a hit in which the main characters died in the first 20 minutes of the movie and from there the plot really livened up. From that day on “Beetle Juice” (a title that will never be uttered just once by a group of people) found its place in pop culture.

Downing a ‘Domestic Import’

It’s kind of hard to be a Domestic Import, but this threesome pulls it off with style. Domestic Imports is a local Riverside band that rocks the Inland Empire with a sound all their own. The band consists of three full-time members, Steve Layton on bass and vocals, Gary Hornyak on guitar and vocals and Dan Krashan on drums.

Tigers finding their stride

Tiger fastpitch softball is showing signs of life. Riverside Community College is awakening from its softball stupor and is beginning to gather its collective offensive and defensive resources.
