The Riverside City College Tigers’ football team has climbed up to No.1 in the state in the Junior College Athletic Bureau.
RCC is just three points up from Saddleback College who defeated last week’s No.1 team Long Beach City College 37-33, while the Tiger’s defeated Golden West College 20-17 Sept. 10.
RCC is 2-0 after defeating Victor Valley in the season opener 46-26, and Golden West 20-17. The Tigers go on to play the first home game against Bakersfield who is ranked No.18 in the state on Sept. 17 at 6 p.m at Wheelock Field.
