An evening of jazz guitar at the libraryRiverside City College brings you jazz solo artist Martin Taylor, playing for the public on Oct. 23 in the Digital Library Auditorium at 7 p.m. Admission is free. This show is presented by the RCC performing arts department.

Donate your old cell phonesHopeline and Verizon are accepting any brand of old cellular phone to be recycled. In return, Verizon will be donating new phones with pre-paid minutes to victims of domestic violence. The drop-box is in Student Services, Bradshaw building Room 207.
UC, and CSU transfer workshops at RCCHere to assist is the Riverside City College Transfer/Career Center’s four workshops to help fill out a UC or CSU application. UC workshops are Oct. 27 from 1-2 p.m., Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Nov. 3 between 11:20 a.m to 12:20 p.m. CSU workshops are on Nov. 5 from 1:40-2:40 p.m. All workshops will be held in the Transfer/Career Center.

The Marching Tigers turn 25Celebrating 25 years, the Riverside City College Marching Tigers are hosting the Big Orange Classic field show tournament on Nov. 1 at Wheelock Field. The competiton features performances by many local high schools and the Marching Tigers in an exhibition performance of their Beatles themed show. Tickets are available at the stadium box office. Come dancing with the spiritsASRCC is getting into the spirit of Halloween with a costume dance on Oct. 30 in the Cafeteria. The dance will take place from 7-11 p.m. and will feature costume battles. Admission is free with a student I.D. or $2 without one.
